Ardex af200 plus uncoupling matting adhesive is recommended for use with uncoupling membranes such as ardex ds 20 decoupling mat schluter ditra matting and dural durabase ci matting. Apply the adhesive using a 3 x 3 mm or 4 x 4 mm notched trowel. As an uncoupling system it is used on timber substrates such as wood based sheets and board where possible movement at board junctions could otherwise lead to the floor tiles cracking. Made of polyethylene ditra and ditra xl serve as a waterproofing layer that protects moisture sensitive substrates such as plywood osb. Schluter ditra matting should be applied using a suitable matting adhesive such as ardex af200 plus matting adhesive with a 3mm or 4mm notched trowel. Verify the compatibility of all materials prior to installation. To bond schluter ditra matting use a bonding adhesive that is appropriate for the substrate.

It is also suitable for use with vario pro underfloor heating mat. Schlüter ditra acts as an intermediate substrate system on floors prior to the fixing of ceramic and natural stone tiles with ultratilefix adhesive. The anchoring fleece on the underside of schlüter ditra 25 must be fully engaged in the adhesive to provide a mechanical bond to the substrate. Individual courses of schlüter ditra 25 are cut to size.

Schluter ditra and ditra xl are specifically designed for ceramic and stone tile installations ditra and ditra xl provide uncoupling to prevent cracked tile and grout. Apply the bonding adhesive to the substrate using a 3 x 3 mm or 4 x 4 mm notched trowel. To bond schlüter ditra 25 use a bonding adhesive that is appropriate for the substrate. Ardex af 200 has excellent wet grab and an exceptionally long tack time with very good early and long term adhesive strength and is odourless when dry.

The adhesive must bond to the substrate and mechanically anchor the fleece on the underside of the schlüter ditra 25 matting. Since ditra is impervious it does not deprive the mortar of its moisture. In general we don t recommend the use of modified thin set mortar to set tile over the membranes because these mortars must air dry to cure properly. The mat also acts as a waterproofing membrane to cope with any moisture that may occur on the underside of the substrate.
